We are proud to announce that the Ranomafana Ruffed Lemur Project has been selected by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium as one of its five flagship conservation programs!
Thanks to their generous support, we have been able to replace research equipment, hire additional staff -- including a project manager and a doctoral student -- and begin laboratory analyses of samples we have collected in the field! Their continued support will allow us to establish a vet exchange program with the Ohio State University and the veterinary school at the University of Antananarivo which will train future generations of wildlife veterinarians and conservations!
This is a huge step forward for our project and will be integral to ruffed lemur conservation!
