WANT TO JOIN THE LAB?

I am currently accepting students at the Undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. levels.

Undergraduates interested in primate behavior and/or molecular ecology should contact Prof. Andrea Baden to discuss field and/or laboratory opportunities. Possible options include: Madagascar Education Abroad Program (Summer 2020), Independent Study credits (3 cr.), and PMEL Internships. Funding is available to undergraduate Anthropology majors interested in field work through the Anthropology DART Program, and to students interested in lab work through the Hunter Undergraduate Research Initiative (UGRI).

Graduate studies at the Master's level are offered through our new Master's in Evolutionary Primatology in the Department of Anthropology and the Animal Behavior and Conservation (ABC) Program in the Department of Psychology at Hunter College. Click here to learn more.

Graduate studies at the PhD level are offered through The CUNY Graduate Center. I am a member of the Graduate Faculty in Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, and Behavior (EEB) and Core Faculty in the New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology (NYCEP). Students interested in a PhD program in Biological Anthropology participate in the NYCEP program. Funding at the PhD level is offered through competitive scholarships from NYCEP and adjunct teaching positions at CUNY in Physical Anthropology.
